Design system · v4 · client-selected direction

Mint on white, numbers that whisper their cents.

The direction your client chose — the light fintech console from the very first reference. White cards on a near-white canvas separated by hairline borders, Poppins throughout, one signature green in two voices: a pale mint that carries every action, and a deep teal that draws the money. Decimals fade to gray so the eye lands on what matters. This page reproduces that design exactly, fitted with Glob's content and compliance furniture.

01 · Color

One green, two voices

The reference runs almost entirely on neutrals plus a single green split into two jobs: mint fills for things you can press, deep teal for the data itself. Coral is the only warm color and carries everything leaving or needing attention — money out, inactive, held. Nothing else is ever colored.

02 · Typography

Poppins, and the fading cents

Poppins is the only face — geometric, friendly, set 400–600 with hierarchy from weight and size. The reference's most distinctive habit is kept as a rule: whole amounts in ink, decimals in faint gray. The eye reads $34,680 instantly; the .05 is there when you need it.

03 · Components

The working set

Rendered live in the tokens. Actions are always mint pills with dark text — the reference's "Send Money" — never saturated fills. White pills with hairline borders handle secondary work.

The rail is white with a hairline divider — no dark block, no colored pills. Search with the ⌘F keyboard hint sits on top; MENU and GENERAL group labels in faint caps; the active item is simply a gray inset. Payments expands into a tree with a thin guide line — deep structure without visual weight. The only color allowed in the rail is the coral approvals counter.

Amounts live in gray inset rows with the round flag, code and chevron — the reference's exact selector. The fee receipt is a quiet list with hairline rules: fees, arrival day and the all-in rate are visible before the mint button, and the quote re-quotes rather than silently drifting. This is the same FX contract as every earlier proposal, wearing the client's chosen clothes.

Anatomy, kept exactly: dark-teal fill with the diagonal hatch, a bright mint edge on top and trailing side so each step catches light, dashed column separators, amounts above each column, and the selected column washed in mint. For Glob the five columns become the pipeline: initiated → approved → screened → settled, plus collections.

04 · Multi-currency

The currency row

The reference's own wallet: white cards with a large round flag, the code beside it, the balance with fading cents, the monthly limit in gray, and an Active/Inactive chip. The kebab menu holds per-currency actions. The carousel keeps our two-and-a-half-cards rule — the half card invites the scroll — and the dashed mint tile adds a currency.

Four rounded currency tiles fanned mid-flip
Exchange, illustrated. The FX page hero keeps the commissioned material — it sits naturally on this lighter canvas too.

Same multicurrency contract as before, new clothes: circular flags always, codes beside them, tabular balances with faded cents, and the status chip doing the active/dormant work. The blue anchor card from the bento direction retires — in this system no card is colored; the main account is simply first, marked by its limit line and the mint tint on its add-tile neighbour.

05 · Application

The customer portal, exactly as chosen

The reference screen rebuilt one-to-one with Glob content: white rail with search and tree menu, currency row up top, Payment Overview with the teal steps, Transfer Calculator with the mint Send Money, and Transactions History below. Glob's compliance furniture joins in-style: the coral held banner under the calculator, approvals counter in the rail.

06 · Where this lands

Three directions, one winner

All three proposals share the same semantic layer — statuses, the FX contract, multicurrency patterns, illustration rules. The client has chosen this one, so v4 becomes the build target; v2 and v3 stay published as the record of the exploration.

07 · Rollout

Applying the client's pick

Token-level re-skin of the working prototype, one pass, both portals: swap the sheet to these tokens, restyle the rail to the white tree-menu, adopt faded cents and the mint pills, wire the round flags and the commissioned illustrations, keep every flow and guard identical, and run the regression suite before deploying. The backoffice wears the same system with teal as its working accent and coral doing the same alert duty. Say go and this becomes the portal.
